Every Where you want to be
Discover a modern tale inspired by the classic Red Riding Hood story!
Matilda Castillo has always been a rule-follower, but everything changes when an injury during her senior year threatens her dreams of becoming a contemporary dancer. When Tilly receives a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend the summer with a New York dance troupe, she can't let anything hold her back—not her mother, her fears of the big city, or even her commitment to Georgetown. Her mother agrees to let her go on two conditions: Tilly must regularly visit her abuela in New Jersey, and after the summer, she must give up dancing and head off to college.
With her red vintage sunglasses and a notebook full of pros and cons, Tilly sets out to transform a summer job into a career—planning to break the news to her mother later. Along the way, she meets both new friends and new foes. Fellow troupe member Sabrina Wolfrik is equally determined to succeed, even if it means resorting to sabotage and blackmail. Amid the challenges, Tilly finds herself falling in love with the vibrant city, especially as Paolo, a handsome musician from her past, also calls New York home for the summer.
As the competition with Sabrina intensifies and the summer draws to a close, Tilly’s future hangs in the balance. She must choose: will she follow her mother's dream of college, or take a leap of faith to pursue her own passion for dance?
