Please lift me and my family in prayer. We have been in a particularly trying season. Last year was very difficult. My mother was placed on hospice and passed away on June 3. Soon after my husband lost his job. My daughter and her husband ( who is a trans-man) stopped speaking to us because of the election and we are now facing the foreclosure of our home and wondering what God is doing through all of these trials. Thank you for your prayers in advance.

I would like to ask for prayers for my stepson, Shawn. He is an alcholic and gets worse by the day. It’s a very long story, but suffice it to say that he is a 39 year old man who has no reason to stop drinking despite acknowledging he does drink too much (and smoke pot).

My husband and I pray daily that he’ll give in to the offers of help without hitting a disastrous bottom – everything in his life is suffering because of it … we feel helpless.

Please pray for whatever you feel is appropriate (Mercy, safety, etc.)
